Words have power. They tell us who we are.

This is the posting journal for Neverfell, a fictional work-in-progress. What follows is an introductory post to how this journal will be used and other information. Obviously with considerations for future publication, every post will be friends-locked; should you wish to be added to the journal's friend's list so you can view the material, please friend this journal ([info]neverfell. In turn, [info]neverfell will friend you back.

Once you have access to the material, feel free to scroll through the journal contents or use the tag field listed on the left of the journal's main page. At first, a lot of the posts will be wibbling from yours truly on some of the theoretical underpinnings of the series - and the odd amount of blather on authorical insecurity. Overarching stuff on the conceptualisation behind the series will be tagged 'Neverfell'. Authorial musings will be tagged 'About the Author'. Backstory will be tagged appropriately depending on its specific category: alien races, characters, places, terms, etc. Novel drafts will be posted when I'm damn well up to it. I would actually like feedback or commentary on the backstory and worldbuilding, precisely because it always helps to have another (independent and external) set of eyes and eye-deas (shout it out loud, people) to consider the building blocks of the story I wants to tell. This isn't actually intended to be a wank session. Feel free to point out the flaws, holes, things you don't understand. Ask questions. Criticise. Interrogate the text from the wrong perspective. Say you like it, hate it, or want to go 'BWEE' a lot. Anything helps. (Well, maybe not the BWEE. < /snob>)

Above all, please enjoy.
